The Eucharistic Convention
2009

Fr John Flader
B.A. (Harvard) and D.C.L. (Navarre)

Fr John Flader is currently Director of the Catholic Adult Education Centre of the Archdiocese of Sydney, Australia.

The job is a formidable one in some ways - to reach out to and teach grown-up Catholics about their faith.

A teacher with long experience dealing with bright, sceptical minds - he has been chaplain at both the University of Tasmania and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology

Fr John sees his job - and the Church's in the third millennium - as evangelisation, spreading the Good News. So he has also begun a program of seminars discussing papal documents, which are also proving popular.

Having taught the whole Catechism of the Catholic Church, Fr. John Flader is familiar with all areas contained in the Catechism. His particular area of expertise is Canon Law.

This Eucharistic Convention is about evangelisation and spreading the Good News also; we are very grateful to Father Flader for taking time out of his busy schedule to join our speaking panel this year.
